On Jan 12 2025, Mountain Energy Nepal Limited approved a total dividend of 15.7895%, comprising 15 % bonus shares and 0.7895 % cash dividend, and authorized a rights issue of NPR 1.33 billion to fund the 65 MW Dudh Khola hydropower project.
The dividend of Rs 30 per share is being deposited today; shareholders must have dematerialised shares and updated bank details in their demat account to receive the payment. Those with loans against shares must provide a No Objection Letter, and any investor who has not yet claimed dividends for FY 2072/73 should appear with identity at NMB Capital Limited.
