Why Lagani Saathi

Managing multiple MeroShare accounts is repetitive and time-consuming.

Nepal share investors often manage multiple Demat accounts for parents, spouse, children, and relatives. Lagani Saathi keeps that workflow organized, visible, and confirmation-gated.

Apply for your whole family

Choose an issue, select eligible Demat accounts, confirm once, and let background jobs handle the repeated MeroShare sessions.

Never miss a right-share deadline

Right shares can protect long-term ownership and compounding. Track them alongside IPO/FPO issues before the closing date passes.

See every application in one place

Review submitted, failed, ineligible, and retryable applications with redacted response history instead of guessing later.

What it helps with

Built around Nepal's share application workflow.

The core flow stays simple: choose the issue, choose the accounts, then confirm before Lagani Saathi uses MeroShare.

Questions and safeguards

Trust should be easy to inspect.

Clear answers about authentication, encrypted Demat and MeroShare details, authorization boundaries, and how to verify activity yourself.

How is my account protected? +

Lagani Saathi uses local account authentication, email-code verification, strong password requirements, and app-level group authorization.

Does Lagani Saathi apply IPOs automatically? +

No. Lagani Saathi does not submit hidden automatic applications. You choose the issue, select the Demat accounts, review the action, and explicitly confirm before any MeroShare submission runs.

How are Demat and MeroShare details stored? +

MeroShare password, CRN number, transaction PIN, and full Demat number are encrypted with Rails Active Record Encryption using AES-256-GCM. Sensitive values are redacted from logs and are only used for authorized MeroShare automation requests.

Is my MeroShare password stored? +

Yes, only if you add it for an account, and it is stored encrypted. MeroShare passwords, CRN numbers, transaction PINs, and full Demat numbers are never logged in plain text.

Can Lagani Saathi staff see my MeroShare password, CRN, transaction PIN, or full Demat number? +

MeroShare password, CRN number, and transaction PIN are never shown in the product UI. Full Demat numbers are stored encrypted and should only appear where needed for account management or live authorized MeroShare requests. Support should rely on redacted logs and explicit user-approved troubleshooting, not credential disclosure.

When does automation access MeroShare? +

Only after you select accounts and check the authorization box. The authorization text states what will be accessed and submitted before automation runs.

Which MeroShare actions are used? +

Lagani Saathi uses login, account details needed for eligibility, bank and application metadata, applicable issue lookup, right-share quantity lookup where relevant, submission, and logout. Only the access required for the authorized operation is used.

What kind of share issue openings can I apply to? +

You can apply to any share issue type you are allowed to submit through MeroShare, including IPO, FPO, right share, mutual fund, debenture, for general public, foreign employment, project affected area, reserved, call, and other eligible openings.

Can I edit or remove Demat accounts? +

Yes. You can edit or delete Demat accounts and credentials from the app at any time.

Can I import many Demat accounts at once? +

Yes. Lagani Saathi supports CSV and XLSX imports using the provided sample template, so families, capital teams, and fund managers can set up multiple Demat accounts without entering each one manually.

Can I manage my whole family? +

Yes. You can organize family or trusted-circle Demat accounts in private groups, then select the accounts you want to include for each issue application.

What happens if I forget an issue? +

The public issue list and optional newsletter help you notice IPO, FPO, and right-share openings. Newsletter emails are issue alerts and never include private group, Demat, or application details.

Are sensitive credentials ever displayed again? +

MeroShare password, CRN number, and transaction PIN remain write-only from your perspective. Full Demat numbers are stored encrypted; logs and audit payloads use suffixes.

How can I verify MeroShare activity? +

You can check MeroShare's own activity log at meroshare.cdsc.com.np under My Profile, then Activity Log.

Is Lagani Saathi a broker or trading platform? +

No. Lagani Saathi helps discover issue openings and submit authorized MeroShare applications. It does not trade shares on NEPSE.

What happens if an application fails? +

The app records failed, ineligible, retryable, and submitted states with redacted response summaries so you can see what happened without exposing sensitive values. After an automated bulk run finishes, you also receive a batch run report by email.

Can I delete my account and data? +

Yes. You can delete your account from your profile at any time. Account deletion removes your local user account and owned groups, including their Demat accounts, invitations, applications, eligibilities, and related group data. Operational audit rows may remain without your user association so system activity can still be inspected safely.
