BOK’s 21st AGM approved a 26% bonus share and a 1.3684211% cash dividend for tax purpose. The AGM also approved a merger with Lumbini Bank, naming the combined entity Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited, with a share‑swap ratio of 1:0.8281.
Today is the last day to qualify for the 10% bonus share dividend of Prudential Insurance Company Limited (PICL) for fiscal year 2071/72. Shareholders must own shares by Jestha 17, 2073 to be eligible.
Only shareholders owning shares till Magh 3, 2072 may claim the 1.36 % cash dividend announced at today’s Bank of Kathmandu AGM at 11 a.m. Shares of Bank of Kathmandu and Lumbini Bank are halted pending the merger, with a swap ratio of 1:0.8281 and the merged entity to be named Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited.
Kanchan Development Bank Limited will convene its Special General Meeting on Ashad 4, 2073 at 11:00 AM to endorse a 2:1 right share distribution to existing shareholders.
Applications for the 35% rights issue will close on Shrawan 4, 2073 (35 days after Ashad 1). Eligible shareholders must have transferred shares to their name before the book‑closure date of Jestha 14, 2073 to apply.
Shares of Sanima Bank are expected to be floated by the second week of Ashad, following the final approval of a 50% right issue of 15,301,440 units at Rs 100 on Jestha 16, 2073.
Shareholders of NIC Asia Bank may apply for the 25% (4:1) right share issue, but must submit applications by Ashad 15, 2073 – the closing date. Eligible investors are those who held and transferred shares before the book closure on Baisakh 31, 2073, and there are 92,37,540 unit rights at Rs 100 each.
The 14th AGM of Life Insurance Corporation Nepal approved a 25% bonus share issuance and a 1.32% cash dividend for tax purposes, based on its net profit. The meeting was held on Jestha 11, 2073 at Nepal Academy Hall.
Today is the last day for shareholders of Salt Trading Corporation to register and secure the 15% stock bonus and 10% cash dividend for FY 2071/72, with ownership required by Jestha 11, 2073. The shareholder register will close from Jestha 12 to Jestha 26, 2073 for the upcoming AGM.
Only shareholders holding LICN shares until Baisakh 29 are eligible for the dividend; the register closed on Baisakh 30 and the AGM will finish today, so investors must confirm holdings before the day ends.
