Recent dividend, bonus-share, and right-share announcements from the Nepal market.
Bonus shares of NRN, Shine Resunga Development Bank, and United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower are now listed on NEPSE. NRN will issue 51,37,489.14 units as a 40% bonus share and a 2.105% cash dividend of Rs 2.70 crore; Shine will issue 14,62,710.50 units as a 3% bonus and a 10% cash dividend of Rs 48.75 crore; UMRH will issue 2,30,412 units as a 5% bonus and a 0.26% cash dividend of Rs 11.98 lakhs.
Sanima GIC Insurance Limited proposed a 5.2632% dividend (Rs. 11.31 crore) for FY 2081/82 in its 179th Board of Directors meeting on Falgun 29, subject to approval by the Nepal Insurance Authority and AGM. Shareholders should note that the dividend and 5% bonus shares distribution await such confirmation.
Sarbottam Cement (SARBTM) has listed 24,87,750 unit bonus shares on NEPSE; its LTP is Rs. 902.00. Sikles Hydropower (SIKLES) has listed 12,75,000 unit bonus shares on NEPSE; its LTP is Rs. 692.90.
Bonus shares of Chhimek Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (CBBL), Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWBBL) and Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SLBBL) are now listed on NEPSE. Current LTPs are Rs. 948.00 for CBBL, Rs. 773.50 for SWBBL and Rs. 864.00 for SLBBL.
Sun Nepal Life Insurance listed 25,15,616 bonus shares on NEPSE. The current LTP is Rs. 490.00.
Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has decided not to distribute dividends for Fiscal Year 2081/82, pending approval of its financial statements by Nepal Rastra Bank and the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
HPPL is offering 50% right shares worth Rs. 53.27 crores to existing shareholders who held shares before Chaitra 09, 2082; the book closure date is set for 10 Chaitra, 2082.
On Falgun 25, 2082 SEBON approved Himalayan Power Partner Limited’s rights offering of 50% rights shares worth Rs. 53.27 crores, comprising 15,981,255 units. The issue will increase the company’s paid‑up capital to Rs. 1.59 arba, with Global IME Capital Limited appointed as issue manager; HPPL closed at Rs. 505.00.
Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Limited will not distribute a dividend for FY 2081/82, a decision pending approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank and the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
Dividend distribution for Prabhu Insurance Company Limited is pending approval by the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement at the company's upcoming AGM. If approved, shareholders will receive a 9.1679% dividend, comprising 8.7% bonus shares worth Rs. 14.79 crores and a 0.4679% cash dividend of Rs. 77.88 lakhs.
