NIC Asia Bank has cancelled its dividend proposal for FY 2077/78 following a Nepal Rastra Bank order over insufficient Capital Conservation Buffer. The decision means the previously planned 15.78947% dividend will not be paid, and the bank will not hold its AGM this year.

The rights offering of Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) closes on 27th Magh, 2078. Investors who held shares before the book closure on Poush 26, 2078 can apply for 1.5 new shares for each existing share in a 1:1.5 ratio, up to 30 lakh unit shares at Rs. 100 each.
Starting today, 6th Magh, RMDC Laghubitta Bittiya Limited will distribute a 5% cash dividend directly to the bank accounts of shareholders who have authenticated their accounts in their Demat records. Shareholders who have not authenticated or dematerialized their shares must complete those steps to receive the dividend; margin‑loan holders must present a No Objection or Release Letter, depending on when the loan was taken.

Sebon approved IME General Insurance’s 10:4 rights offering, issuing 46,30,344 shares at Rs.100 each to raise over Rs. 46.30 crores. It also cleared Shikhar Insurance’s 30% rights issue, with 52,75,572 shares to be issued to existing shareholders.
Shareholders must hold shares until Magh 05, 2078 to be eligible for the 15% dividend. The 28th AGM will be streamed on 21st Magh 2078, where the dividend and a 14.25% bonus share issue will be approved.
