Recent dividend, bonus-share, and right-share announcements from the Nepal market.
Bonus shares for Pokhara Finance Limited, Prime Life Insurance, Nepal SBI Bank and Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha are now listed in NEPSE. Shareholders who held shares before each company’s book‑closure date are entitled to the declared dividends and bonus allocations (8.5% for PFL, 15% for PLIC, 5.31% for SBI, 20% for WOMI).
Today, Chaitra 07, is the final book closure for the 14.7368% dividend and shareholders held until this date are eligible to receive it. The 21st AGM of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited will take place at Hotel Bishwa on 21st Chaitra, where the dividend will be endorsed and board members elected.
Shareholders on the books before Chaitra 17 are entitled to a 21 % dividend proposed in bonus shares; the AGM will take place on Chaitra 27 at 11 am in Banepa Party Venue.
Bonus shares of Everest Bank Limited (6% bonus worth Rs 53.36 crore, 4.32% cash dividend worth Rs 38.42 crore), NMB Bank Limited (12.5% bonus with 3.3% cash dividend), and Ganapati Laghubitta Bittya Santha Limited (19% bonus with 1% cash dividend) have been listed on NEPSE.
Book closure for the 73.68% dividend of Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta is on Chaitra 12; shareholders holding shares before that date are eligible for the dividend and may attend the AGM on Chaitra 25, 2078 at 10:30 am.
Book closure for Prabhu Insurance Company (PRIN) is on Chaitra 17, 2078; shareholders recorded before that date are entitled to an 11.58% dividend for FY 2077/78. The company also proposes 11% bonus shares on paid‑up capital and a 0.57% cash dividend of Rs 67.26 lakhs.
The auction for 13,651 ordinary and 131,998 promoter right shares of Narayani Development Bank will be open until 17th Chaitra, 2078, with a minimum bid of Rs. 100 per share.
Shareholders must pay tax on the 20% bonus shares of Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited; deposit the tax to KCL‑WOMI TAX COLLECTION 2077/78, account 0130098407200037, Kumari Bank.
Book closure date for API's 1:0.3936 rights offering is Chaitra 14; shareholders must apply by this date. The offering will issue 1,08,60,000 shares, SEBON approved on Falgun 26, with Muktinath Capital as issue manager.
Today is the last trading day before NEPSE closes tomorrow, so shareholders can secure the 16% dividend announced by Garima Bikas Bank Limited for FY 2077/78 if they hold shares before the 4th of Chaitra. The bank will hold its 15th AGM on the 18th of Chaitra, 2078, where the dividend will be endorsed and additional promoter shares issued on a 1:1 swap ratio adjustment.
