Electricity Regulatory Commission approves 50% rights issue of Liberty Energy Company
Today, the Electricity Regulatory Commission approved a 50% rights issue of Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) worth Rs.75 Crores, representing 50% of the company's current paid‑up capital of Rs.1.50 Arba and will raise the paid‑up capital to Rs.2.25 Arba. After the approval, the proposal will be submitted to the general meeting, while the upper Dordi “A” Hydropower Project (25 MW) has been generating electricity since 17th Mangsir 2079.
Today is the last day to secure the 20% dividend proposed by Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (LLBS). Shareholders holding shares until Falgun 17 are entitled to this dividend at the AGM on Falgun 29, 2079.
Asha Laghubitta has revised its dividend for FY 2078/79, reducing its bonus shares from 20% to 14.2857% and its cash dividend from 1.0526% to 0.7143% of paid‑up capital. The new proposal replaces the prior plan and impacts dividend payouts accordingly.

PICL revises dividend proposal for FY2078/79
Prudential Insurance Company (PICL) has revised its dividend proposal for FY 2078/79, now suggesting 3.325% bonus shares worth Rs 3.94 crore and a 0.175% cash dividend of Rs 20.75 lakh. The prior proposal, approved on Poush 18, had called for a 6.842% dividend, 6.5% bonus shares worth Rs 7.70 crore and a 0.342% cash dividend worth Rs 40.57 lakh.

SMFDB’s board has proposed a 14.276582% dividend for FY2078/79, comprising a 13.562753% bonus of Rs 6.70 crores and a 0.713829% cash dividend of Rs 35.26 lakh, to be distributed after central bank approval and AGM endorsement. SMFDB and NMFBS have signed a MoU for merger on Ashwin 26, 2079, with a share swap ratio of 100:82.
