Recent dividend, bonus-share, and right-share announcements from the Nepal market.
Bonus shares of PICL (3.94m units), DDBL (13.87m units), NUBL (41.70m units), and NRIC (58.25m units) are now listed on NEPSE. They are accompanied by dividend proposals ranging from 3.5% to 21.05% for FY 2078/79 and 5.2632% for FY 2077/78, with associated cash dividend options up to 1%.
59,68,135.55 unit bonus shares of Garima Bikas Bank Limited and 13,83,676 unit bonus shares of Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited are now listed on NEPSE. GBBL approved a 14.5% dividend worth Rs.66.56 crore for FY 2078/79, while AHPC announced an 8.421% dividend worth Rs.21.11 crore for the same fiscal year.
Today, shareholders of Suryodaya Womi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWMF) can still claim the proposed 15% bonus dividend worth Rs. 11.87 Crores, as the book‑closing period ends on Baisakh 30, 2080. The company also calls its 11th AGM on Baisakh 30, 2080, at Dhulikhel Lodge Resort.
Shareholders still holding dividend claims must present share certificates and ID to Nabil Investment Banking Limited in Naxal, Kathmandu to receive their due dividends before they are transferred to the Investor Protection Fund.
5% bonus shares of Nepal Hydro Developer Limited (NHDL) are now listed on the NEPSE after the 16th AGM endorsed a 5.02632% dividend. The bonus shares, valued at Rs. 1.59 crores, and a 0.02632% cash dividend of Rs 8.41 lakhs were approved, and shares closed at Rs. 384 yesterday.
NEPSE has listed 16,53,699.96 units of bonus shares for Sagarmatha Insurance Company Limited and 9,17,644.50 units for Lumbini General Insurance Company Limited, following their merger into Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited. The companies also announced cash dividends of 0.6526% and 0.3679% on a paid‑up capital of Rs. 1.33 Arba and Rs. 1.31 Arba, respectively, for fiscal year 2078/79.
Shree Investment and Finance Company has credited 2.40% bonus shares to DEMAT accounts and announced a 5.20% cash dividend of about Rs 4.98 crore for FY 2078/79. Shareholders are urged to complete dematerialisation of their holdings.
Pokhara Finance has distributed 4% bonus shares directly to DEMAT accounts. Shareholders are urged to dematerialize their shares at Prabhu Capital Limited, Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
Today is the last day to be eligible for Asian Life Insurance Company Limited’s 8.947% dividend of Rs. 26.01 Crores. The 15th AGM will be held at Hotel Classic Simara on 18th Baisakh 2080 at 11:30 AM, with book closure on Baisakh 08.
An 11% cash dividend has been credited to shareholders’ bank accounts via IPS following the 13% dividend endorsement at the 16th AGM. Shareholders who have not updated their beneficiary details or have taken a loan against the shares must update their information and provide a No Objection Letter to receive the dividend.
