Salt Trading Corporation has deposited 15% bonus shares and a 0.79% cash dividend into shareholders’ Demat accounts. Shareholders who have not updated their bank details are urged to do so promptly to receive these benefits.
NEPSE has listed two new government bonds today: NPDB08032089 (208903) and NPDB06052087 (208705). Investors can trade them immediately; NPDB08032089 carries a 5.39% interest rate over 8 years with a principal of Rs. 5 Arba, while NPDB06052087 has a 5.17% rate over 6 years with a principal of Rs. 10 Arba.
Excel Development Bank will not distribute dividends for FY 2079/80, announced at its 306th Board Meeting on Jestha 24, 2080. The bank closed at Rs. 379.40 yesterday.
The bonus shares of National Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Mountain Energy Nepal have been listed on NEPSE, following each company’s approval of a 15 percent dividend (plus a 7.5 percent cash dividend for tax purposes) for fiscal year 2079/80. Current last traded prices are Rs. 1,370 for NMFBS and Rs. 575 for MEN.
Shareholders of Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and NLG Insurance Company Limited must update their bank details in their DEMAT accounts now to claim the newly distributed 5.42% and 5.50% bonus shares, respectively. Bonus shares worth Rs. 2.13 crore and Rs. 8.02 crore have been deposited in DEMAT accounts.
Bonus shares of Deprosc Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Salt Trading Corporation Limited are now listed on NEPSE, following 10% and 15% bonus issues respectively; DDBL will also pay a 0.53% cash dividend and STC a 0.79% cash dividend.

NLIC has proposed a 21.05% cash dividend of Rs. 1.79 Arba for FY 2079/80, pending approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and the upcoming AGM. The dividend is subject to a 1.05% tax allocation and NLIC’s share price is Rs. 603.00.
7% bonus shares of Nepal Hydro Developer Limited (NHDL) have been listed on NEPSE, offering shareholders additional units. The bonus shares are now tradable at a price of Rs. 500.00.
United Modi Hydropower Limited’s 10th AGM has been rescheduled to 27th Jestha, 2081. Shareholders registered by 7th Chaitra, 2080 may attend the meeting at Kalimati Banquet, Kathmandu, starting 11:00 AM.
