# Bulk IPO Result Checker

> Bulk check allotment results for one or multiple companies (issues) with one or
> many BOIDs (demat accounts). Results come directly from CDSC's own result site,
> the same one behind `iporesult.cdsc.com.np`. No account and no MeroShare password
> are needed, and your BOID is never stored.

## What to enter

**The issues.** One scrip can cover several issues of the same company. General
Public, Foreign Employment and Project Affected Area each have their own scrip,
so pick the one you applied for; the page lists them separately. Up to
3 at a time.

**The BOIDs.** Sixteen digits beginning 130, the same number as each demat
account. Up to 10 at a time, separated by
commas or newlines.

## What we keep

Your BOID is never stored. It is sent to CDSC to be checked, hashed with a
one-way keyed hash so the same BOID is not looked up twice, and then discarded.
What remains is that hash and the last four digits, which is enough to show you
your own result and not enough to reconstruct the number.

A result is kept once found. An allotment does not change after it is published,
so checking the same BOID again costs nothing and takes no time.

## What comes back

Each BOID gets one of two answers, in CDSC's own words: alloted, with the
quantity, or not alloted. There is no third state in which we guess: if the check
cannot be completed, the row says so rather than implying a negative.
